This is from an early dinner at Daquise, a family owned Polish restaurant in the heart of Kensington UK. They’ve been serving up amazing food for 60 years.  The restaurant was still quiet before the dinner rush and the late afternoon sun poured through the windows. They still use an antique dumb waiter to send the dishes down to the kitchen. The high ceilings and old chandelier drew me in.  An old world classic that felt like home.
