An evening floating the river in Craig, Montana.  We came upon these cows and I knew they would be painted!  Just after we floated up river, the cow drinking from the river started dusting himself.  I'd never seen anything like it when suddenly, a large flock of geese shot through the bushes into the air...I was so startled, that I didn't have my camera ready.  The noise was crazy as they flew away from the cow, who clearly disturbed their peace.
